I had planned to post on this photographer last month but didn’t get around to it.  Anyway, I think he has a touch of that “dark erotic” aesthetic that informs the work of so many artists today who portray children.  But I’ll let you be the judge.  His photographs are also a nice ode to both ‘Alice in Wonderland’ and the silent film era.

A few of these also appear to make reference to the baroque images of Eva Ionesco by her mother. These are very interesting photos, esp. the last portraits. Thanks for the introduction!
