Little Orphan Images

(Last Updated On January 1, 2022)

This page is dedicated to images that seem to have historical importance but cannot be identified.  Pigtails readers are our eyes and ears and we rely on you for reliable leads and clarification.  Please contact Ron if you have any leads.

[210711] This is one of a series of images from someone called Daniel Moreno. It is a common Spanish name and I could not find examples of the images on the internet. The younger girls are wearing bikini bottoms but there are full nudes of the older girls and I expect that, if it weren’t for legal restrictions, he would have been comfortable shooting the younger ones nude as well. The images remind me the most of the work of Jacques Bourboulon.

[210711] This image was collected but does not seem to belong to any website. It is an illustration to a poem called ‘The Hummingbird’ (1906) by Harriet Monroe but since Monroe was not an illustrator, this has yet to be properly identified.

[200512] This cover appeared in a collection of scanned Photo-Lolicon images. The problem was that it appeared out of context. It is unknown what images appear in the book (and/or CD) and who the photographer(s) is. Anyone who can shed some light on this would be much appreciated. This book came in two volumes.

[200412] A reader has found some information on this book. Some of the photographers include David Hamilton, Chris Nikolson and Dominik Alterio but I would prefer a more complete list. The book also included a CD-ROM when new.

[191212] Christian has requested identification of the following two images. Internet searches have not been much help.

[170201] The next ten images (some have now been identified and removed) came from Pip’s archive collected from the internet and passed on when he retired from full-time work on the site.

The first images has a rough credit “Boy and girl in pants”, copyright by Miles/zefa/Corbis.

I have seen this image numerous times usually associated with a humorous caption like: “Someday this will dominate your life!”

The next two images have a documentary feel and may be press photos.

The following image comes from someone who calls himself/herself “bibingkalove”.  Please come forward if you have more definitive information about this photographer.

[170125] The following images were from the book Dream Girls referred to in ‘Stolen Dreams and the Japanese School’.  Many images have been identified so far but these still have not.

[150704] The image below was sold online, but due to some shady tactics, I did not win the auction.  I mentioned to the seller that the style closely resembled Lotte Herrlich and probably puts it in that era.  I would appreciate anyone who might recognize the artist or anyone who owns this image and can provide higher quality scan.

  1. In regard to Dream Girls page 62 image, I found about 10 scans of this girl twenty years ago but sadly no longer have them. There were three or four nude images, one of which was slightly censored. Beauty is always in the eye of the beholder of course, but I still find her strikingly beautiful. I only wish I could find the scans again but the www has changed a lot in the last twenty years and I wouldn’t know where to begin looking.

    • That’s one the of the more disreputable aspects of these bootleg operations. All information on the artist and the model are lost. Please do come forward if you have a more definitive lead. Thank you, -Ron

  2. RE: Pip3 variant that Jerrold mentions, I’ve typically seen captions such as, “Oh, so that explains the difference in our salaries” and so on : )

  3. As for “Pip-3”, there was a poster being sold, back in the 1970’s I think, that was the opposite of this picture. It showed two kids from the side.
The boy was pulling his underpants forward so that the naked little girl could look inside. The caption said something like “From tiny acorns mighty oaks grow”.
