Most of you have noticed that things are winding down here at Pigtails. That does not mean that we have stopped responding to requests and leads. I do have a few that need to be posted. We still have a few surprises for you. Hope our American readers had a great Thanksgiving and best wishes to all for the coming Christmas holiday.
Don’t leave us stranded, please.
Not sure what you mean by this. -Ron
I join everybody else here in expressing my hope that “winding down” does NOT mean that the site is in danger of being frozen at its current content or of closing altogether.
Readers will be informed of any developments as we have done in the past. I suggest you read the past few Maiden Voyages. I did take care to inform everyone. -Ron
Same to you.
Continue with the good work.
Greetings from sunny Mexico.
Hi,
In about 1990, give or take a couple years, I saw an advertisement in Popular Photography for a book with the English title “Young Beauty of Old Mexico”. It said that a Mexican antique dealer found a large number of 19th century glass plate negatives of Mexican girls at a flea market, and has published a book of the photos. I neglected to order the book, and never saw the ad again. Do you know anything about this book? Would it be appropriate for Pigtails in Paint?
Merry Christmas!
Some of the images may have been published. One of our Mexican readers may have seen it. I will ask him to look at this comment. -Ron
I hope things are going well for you too.
The surprises makes me curious.
Thank you but it is the efforts of volunteers to keep things going. For instance there is supposed to be an article on Mafalda pending, isn’t there? -Ron
