Well, I have some sad news to report: this will be my final post at Pigtails in Paint. I’m officially pulling the plug tonight. It’s been a great run, but I have been informed that my site violates some rule or other and I have 24 hours to take it down. I just wanted to let everyone know that I have greatly appreciated your patronage and I hope you all have enjoyed my site. Also . . . happy April Fool’s Day!
No, my site is here to stay, at least for the time being. Hope I didn’t freak you all out too much. Now let’s get to the real Maiden Voyages for April.

Apparently surrealist painter Dorothea Tanning died earlier this year, and so I would like to do a tribute post to her, and yes, much of her work is apropos to this blog. French illustrator Moebius also passed away just last month. Though I’ve already paid tribute to him, one can never really honor Moebius enough for his amazing and influential contributions to the fields of comics and illustration. I guess that’s about it, then.
