Dream Theater – Images and Words: This is one of the first CDs I ever bought for myself, back when CDs were sold in those long boxes instead of just the plastic cases they sell them in now. I bought this largely for the beautiful cover design and for the song Pull Me Under but wound up loving the band so much I acquired most of their subsequent work. Along with Queensrÿche, one of the best progressive metal bands working today. The beautiful little model for this image (last name Delantera; I forget her first name) not only shows up on the cover of the album but also in the music video for Another Day from the same album.
