Okay, so here is the second of the surrealist fantasy artists, Michael Parkes, although he prefers to classify his work as magic realism. Parkes is one of the most recognized fantasy painters working today, and, while he most often paints full-grown women, he also sometimes places adolescent girls in his work. Whatever their subject, Parkes’s paintings are simply stunning.

(I’m reading this blog from newest to oldest) Michael Parkes certainly has a good eye and a great imagination! His tempting little ladies are well-drawn. Nubian Girl is my favorite, and yes these pictures are stunning.
